P.R. Baby graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Technology from Mar Basil Engineering College and a Master's degree in Technology from CUSAT. He joined NPOL, a research station under DRDO, Ministry of Defence, Government of India, as a Scientist. Throughout his career, P.R. has held various positions within the organization and received multiple awards for his exceptional work in defence planning and joint activities. P. R. Baby is married to Gracy, who holds a postgraduate degree, and they have two sons. Their elder son, Dr. Giby Raphel, currently serves as the CEO of Remote X Corporation in Portland, USA, and also the Associate Pastor of faithcity Church, while their younger son, Giju David, is employed in the US after completing his Master's in Engineering.
Faithcity Church is the realization of a divine vision that P.R. Baby received during his time at Mar Basil Engineering College. Raised as a devout Catholic, he actively participated in church activities until a life-altering encounter with Jesus Christ during a college retreat.

Pastor P.R. Baby was the founder and the senior Pastor of Faithcity church and diligently served as the leader of the Faithcity congregation until 03 November 2022, when he passed away at 6:53 Indian time while receiving treatment at St. Vincent Medical Centre in Portland. His passing was a significant loss for both his devoted congregation and the broader community.
